Founded by HRH Prince Harry, the Invictus Games in Toronto welcomed over 550 athletes from 14 countries in a seven-day event that celebrated the heroic journey of injured and ill servicemen and women. The seven-day athletic competition was sold out with 97% of Torontonians being aware of the games. The games also raised awareness about post-traumatic stress disorder and challenges that veterans face when they leave service.
